Uneducated Businessmen?

Starting today we will be writing a series of posts about people who made it big whilst a teenager in the hopes of inspiring you to do the same.This week we will be writing about Sir Richard Branson,the founder of Virgin Group and someone who suffered from dyslexia as well as having poor grades in class.

Richard Branson's first business venture was a magazine called Student which he set up in 1966 at the age of 16! In 1970 at the age of 20 he set up a record mail-order business and in 1972 he opened up a chain of record stores known as Virgin Records.In the 1980s he set up Virgin Atlantic Airways and expanded the Virgin Records music label.

Richard Branson is ranked as the 4th richest citizen of the United Kingdom according to Forbes magazine's list of Billionaires in 2011. He is estimated to have a net worth of US$4.2 Billion.

So there we have it the rise of Richard Branson from being a dropout in high school to one of the richest people in the world.
